Immigration in Mexico is easy as it gets. You can stay 6 months, get out of the country for a day and come right back. You can do this as many times as you want. The officer barely looks at your immigration form, asks no questions and stamps your tourist card. You are good to go in 1 minute. At least, this is what happens in Cancun.
