Angelina's 9th birthday and other pictures

 The morning of her birthday party, Angelina went to the nail salon to get her nails done.

 Friends gathered at our house for the afternoon. The were both Ecuadorian and extranjero kids attending.

 Officially nine years old!

The cake was a hit, everybody liked it.

Our neighbour Fintan took us to the property he bought up high in the mountains.

 This is Fintan. He is building a house plus a guest house there.

 The kids got to ride in the back of his truck both ways.

 We take some time to do a home-made facial mask a couple times a week. The recipe is: mix half a fresh banana, some dry uncooked oatmeal, some honey, a little freshly squeezed lemon juice, a little coconut oil or olive oil or raw cocoa butter (melted in a pan) and a couple drops of lavender essential oil in a blender. Apply on clean skin (avoiding area around the eyes). It should be easy to apply and not fall off your face. Add more oatmeal if the mix is too runny.  Leave on for 15 minutes then rinse with warm water (no soap). You can put a slice of kiwi fruit or cucumber on your eyes.
