San Martin de las Piramides, Mexico

Everybody wants to be Louis's friend, not only on Facebook.

Kids here are very nice. There are 48 students in Louis's class. Louis's teachers will be helping him do his homework personally every afternoon for 2 hours until he is caught up, all on their work time. How fantastic is that?

Less face, more book, well said

This is the woodworker and his family. They are making our dining table and chairs.

Snow above San Martin at mid-day. A freak winter spell is hitting us mid-March. It should already be hot around here. Instead it is cold and windy...

Finding a house like this is not easy. We also had to furnish it. They have all we need; it just takes time to find the stores and woodworkers.

The market, also called "tianguis", a Nahuatl word for market, in Otumba: 3 kilos of mangoes for 1,66 dollar
Tuesday markets ("tiangis") in Otumba are extensive and cheap.

What a beautiful plaza, and incredible market on Tuesdays all day.

Today is Mother's day at the elementary school Jose Othon. There have been fireworks and music all night in the streets.

A plate of food with rice, pork, spicy sauce and tortillas is served to each mum.

Driving closer to Mexico city, the hills are all built up.

This was Angelina's first time at the pyramids. She loved it.
