These two motorcyclists are coming all the way from Guatemala City. They are heading south of Ecuador. For those interested in motorcycle travel in Central / South America, their website may prove very useful: www.2wheelchronicle.com. 
They told us that so far the roads were ok. They went from Panama to Columbia on a sail boat, with the bikes.
There is one tuk tuk in Vilcabamba.
